Hi all, I've recently heard that unlocking and jailbreaking an iPhone can get rid of your $30 a month charge by AT&T. I know you can use different carriers, and I've researched for awhile, but still haven't found the answer. All help is appreciated

No, it wont remove the $30 iPhone charge.
You could end your AT&T contract, goto T-mobile for service and unlock your iPhone to work with them... that would get rid of AT&T's charge all of them
