Microcell logo not showing up
I have an AT&T Microcell at the house, and when you're connected to it, it displays "M-Cel" next to the AT&T logo at the top. At least it does on my wife's jailed 3G. On my JB 3G, the AT&T logo was missing altogether, but I downloaded the fix on Cydia. Now the AT&T logo shows up, but it still doesn't say when I'm connected to the Microcell. It just says AT&T 3G. Anyone know how to fix?

What fix did you download?
The only proper fix is 'UltraSn0w' which should, I believe, fix it properly.He who asks a question looks foolish for 5 minutes. He who doesn't ask a question remains foolish forever.

You're on 3.12? With BB 04.26.08 so you used pwnage? In which case UlraSn0w will work fine.

I am confused then. The carrier logo problem is caused by an incompatibility between 3.12 and BB 04.26.08

Sorry for the confusion, and thanks for the help. My logo disappeared while I was jailbroken on 2.x. I think I did it with Make it Mine...not positive. Upon deleting the app, it just never returned. 3.0 didn't fix it, and obviously 3.1 didn't either.

If you do a DFU restore it will fix it. upgrading the FW doesn't.

Is there any way to look at the actual logo files, and just add them? I've also read that Blacksn0w can help. Is this true, or do I have to do a restore?

BlackSn0w won't help. If you changed your logo with MiM in the first place I would try installing it again then un-installing it. "Carrier Logo Fixer" and UltraSn0w are designed to fix the problem with 3.12 on BB 04.26.08 which is not your problem.

Fixed. Installed MIM again, changed it to something, then deleted the phrase, then quit the app. "M-Cel" now shows up when I'm connected.
It's over my head how this hack survived through 2 firmware updates. And I guess MIM was updated at some point, because all I ever did with it when I had 2.2 was change the phrase to nothing, so it didn't say AT&T. Now, if you leave it blank, it defaults to the correct carrier settings.
