warranty
hey the grey seal thing on my headphones are half peeled off. its annoying as hell to be honest.
is this covered by warranty or does apple give to us in the rear regarding headphones?

erm, well... i doubt accessories are under warranty, and they're not really that expensive... so I'd probably just go out and buy another pair. the ones that actually fit to your ear are nice. and are probably cheaper, since they're not Apple. :P

i dont feel like finding my digital cam but here's a labeled stock photo...
the arrow points to the thing that is peeling off. the line shows where it's peeled off to. i wouldnt mind it as much if the rubber didnt somehow expand to make it extra annoying in my ear.
also im sure the space between the rubber and headphone is a great place for dust and bacteria to build up and eventually get a one way trip to my ear canal.

What the hell are you guys talking about?!?
Apple will swap them out no problem. So far 9 outta 10 times, I've gotten new headphones (the 1 time, my phone was outta warranty)

Don't bring it in for wear and tear.. Just say the sound is distorted. The geniuses don't want to put other peoples headphones in so they just slap a new set on the counter.
