SSH problems

I have been experiencing a problem with WinSCP, or my phone to be more precise. For some reason, I cannot seem to SSH into my phone. It was working fine just yesterday, but now it just won't work. I am able to get in maybe one in ten to fifteen attempts, and it fail again after just a couple of minutes. I cannot pinpoint any reason for this. I have not made any changes to the password. Nothing has changed on the computer (tried on two separate computers as well). I can't think of anything that i may have done on the phone to cause a problem either. I removed the last two items i added to the phone though just in case (let it snow widget/Snappy). I have tried to respring, reboot, and hard reboot the phone, all with no change. I don't want to restore if I don't have to, at least not until I have managed to get my customized themes off of the phone. So any ideas are very much appreciated!!!

Im having the same problem too. Im using Windows 7 but was having the same issue with Win xp pro. I removed SSH restarted then reinstalled SSH restarted and it worked but for only 2 minutes this morning. Im using WinSCP I added it to the windows firewall. It was working last night copied some files over and change permissions but this morning its a no go. Nothing changed just charged it over night. Ive tried Iphone explorer it can see the files but is limited cant copy or change permissions.

Ive also been experiencing this prob. i just jailbroke my ipod 2nd gen and wanted to apply the theme that was already on my ipod 1st gen. when it wouldn't connect i thought it must be something to do with it being 2nd gen, so i tried to access my 1st gen (which ive never had a problem with) BUT THAT ONE WOULD NOT CONNECT EITHER!!! im on win 7 os and was able use winSCP a two days ago but now it wont work. i even tried using the initial username and password and updating WinSCP, nothing works! have u guys figured it out yet?
