Exclamation how to reset your icon layout?

First of all, hello to everyone I'll get right to it.

Recently downloaded the iSatin theme from cydia (think it was that one) and its changed the layout of my icons. Instead of 4 rows of 4 which is the default layout its changed it to 3 rows of 5 and 1 odd icon on its own on the 4th row. I've had a snoop around on the phone and i cant see how to reset the layout to default.

I've tried uninstalling the theme, and winterboard, but nothing will reset it :< anyone have an idea how to fix this? I'm sure its something very obvious but I'm abit of a nub at all of this lol

My guess is the blank icons. Hold an app down until they wiggle. Just delete the blank icons.

nah its not the blank icons, ive deleted those already. Its just re-arranged my existing icons and every time i try to make it so its just default 4 rows of 4 it wont let me do it. Wish i could post a picture of it but if you want an idea of what I'm on about go to cydia and download the iSatin theme from the Themes(complete) section.

I don't know what this'll in regards to jailbreaking, but it will reset the icon layout. If you go into Settings.app, tap General, scroll all the way down to Reset, then tap "Reset Home Screen Layout" it will, uh, reset the home screen layout. Completely.

For those who would have them: This will probably break 5-icon docks, 8x8 Springboards, etc, but I have no idea if that is for certain.

I would make sure the five column springboard add-on is uninstalled.

tried the reset home-screen thing and still no joy. checked for the springboard addon and couldnt see anything. All i know is that when I downloaded iSatin and applied it, it changed all the icon layout to match the theme now it won't let me change it back no matter what i do. It's rather annoying o_o' suppose the only thing i could do is restore my phone via itunes and re-jailbreak it? seems to be the only way..WHAT AN ANNOYING THEME!!! lol

You may want to post your question in the iSatin/Carbon thread.
Have you checked in settings to see if 5 icon is installed and tried to delete in Cydia?

if you look in rock, under manage, see if theres anything about 5irows, 5icons, anything... cuz a theme will install those if its needed. just uninstalling the theme aint enough. make sure for certain thats not the case.

to post a screenie, press the home and power button at same time, email the pic to urself, get it on ur pc, and then on this site under quick replu press go advanced, manage attachments, and then browse for it. that way you can show us whats up.

ok thats the layout of the icons. If i try to move any of the icons around it ALWAYS auto changes the icons back to that layout as soon as i move them e.g if i drag the settings icon anywhere on the screen the last icon in the row above, in this case its the iTunes icon, will take its place....

I dont have Rock installed...only cydia and ive checked through the manage bit and theres nothing to do with 5 icons in there :s

That's really weird. Cuz that icon layout is definitely the one I have installed and it's the 5 column springboard. If your not seeing anything in cydia, I guess ur only option is to restore and re-jailbreak.

    Sorry man

Ya it's really easy, just plug ur phone into iTunes, let it sync up, make sure it does a backup. Then restore it to the 3.1.2 firmware, and rejailbreak it with blackra1n. Then plug it back in to iTunes, restore from last backup.
