    Default apple in ear headphones w. remote and mic buttons working on iphone 2g

    does anyone know if it would be possible to release a hack/tweak to allow the volume buttons on the new apple headphones to work on the older iphones? i want to buy the in ear headphones but without the use of the buttons, its useless

    I bought the headphones, awesome btw, so can someone put me out of my misery and let me know if this kind of hack is possible?
