roqyGps - Does it really let you connect an external GPS to IPOD/IPHONE ?

Has anyone successfully used the cydia app "roqyGps" with an external BT GPS reciever on Ipod Touch 2G/Iphone 2g ?
Does it work with all GPS apps or just google maps ?
