Iphone screen not respronding

I have a 1st Gen 8GB iphone running on 3.0 and last night my screen stopped responding to touch but only the bottom half. now i cant unlock my phone and use it at all. the home button works and if i double click it i can press play on my music player but it wont let me enter my pin.

Anyone had the same problem and found a solution?

any help will be much appreciated

the screen is broken, you will need to get a replacement. sorry ^^

yeah had same problem..apple replced it for me...digitizer is broken brah
