    Default Stuck in reboot after a cydia update

    So i installed a couple of app upgrades from cydia, more specifically, the one that asked me to reboot was an update for SwirlyMMS. Of course i'm in a reboot loop now and restoring isn't really an option. My phone is recognized by iTunes but it just keeps rebooting. I tried this method i found that said to change this string
    Code:
    <dict>
    <key>DYLD_INSERT_LIBRARIES</key>
    <string>/Library/Frameworks/SpringBoard.framework/SpringBoard.dylib:/Library/xxxx/xxxx</string>
    </dict>
    in springboard.plist but that didn't work. So any ideas

    That's super odd.
    Have you tried firstly, removing the app 'SwirlyMMS'?

    The same thing happened to me just today. I installed about 6 updates to Cydia all at once because it was fast and easy and then upon completion it promted the "restart iPhone" button, ofcourse I pressed it and then on the reboot the spinning circle now stops spinning after about 30 seconds or so and then stays frozen for a good 3 or 4 mins and then attempts the whole process again. I've done the Hard reboot (of holding down power and home button for 10secs) with no success. I then tried to connect to iTunes to just wipe it clear and reset the iPhone however iTunes won't pick up the device. The computer will however as I can still access my pictures. So I'm not sure what the problem is here... :/ My last idea I had was to let the battery run dry and start again and that has now apparently not worked either. So I finish this novel like post with, HELP ME!!!

    Well as a last resort you could take it in to apple and they will give you a new one if your still under warranty. Just make sure its completely broken so they don't fix it and see all your jailbroken stuff. lol
