Default Invalid Source keeps refreshing...how do I get rid of it?

A source I tried to add awhile back was no longer active or something. Any ways it never added the source to Cydia but every once and awhile it pops up some error when Cydia starts stating it could not add source or something along those lines. How do I get rid of this since it's not showing up in my Source list?

I had the same problem, source didn't show in Cydia but error still popped up.
    This fixed me

If you know how to SSH into your phone and edit files, edit /private/etc/apt/sources.list.d/cydia.list and remove the offending repository.

I deleted the source in the cydia list, but it kept coming back with each reboot. The link i provided was the only solution that solved that.

Use jcarroll's solution. That is how I fixed it.

The bad repos eventually resurfaced again back in my cydia.plist file a month later. I'm not sure what caused it to reappear. It wasn't due to a reboot.

I followed the tut you linked and found the culprit at the bottom of the metadata.plist file and toasted it.
