Iphone 3gs Ipod Problems

Afternoon all,

I have an Iphone 3GS and play my music in my car through the phone (its an Audi with a built in cable for this)

Problem is when I used to dock it up it would play everything fine and go to the next song but now it will play one song and then carry on repeating it and I will have manually skip it to the next song! can any of you people help as to how I can get it to move onto the next song automatically please?

Also on another note I used to be able to control what I listened too from my phone but now it says accessorie connected and can only choose songs from my car stereo and would much prefer to do it from my phone how would I gep about getting this feature back (Car stero has a poor interface and cant see song choice)

Sorry there is a lot of questions just getting really frustrated with it all!

Just an update on this I have managed to get it to move on a song now

But still I have this question why does the iphone sometimes allow me to control song selection from the iphone but other days it says accessory connected any ideas people? it's really annoying!
