Default did i lose the warranty on my iphone?

hey guys i just have a simple question. i had dropped my phone and my screen cracked, i found someone on CL to fix my phone for 60 dollars, he worked at a cell phone store at the mall.

He took 2 screws out and took the screen out, everything else stayed in place, he put the new screen in and put the screws back in. It took a little over a minute. The phone technically wasn't opened right? I am having a problem with my phone and want to take it in to apple. i dont know if there are stickers on the screws or something that would show if they had been removed or not. Thanks

There are a few indicators that would void your warranty. One is that if you paid $60 to replace the digitizer, it is most likely not an apple part. Another thing is that to remove the LCD when replacing the digitizer, there are 2 screws hidden under a small strip of black tape. This tape would have been damage when fixing your phone, so this is another indicator. Also, most people who fix iPhones off of CL do not use the proper parts and do not affix the #2 sticker back on the digitizer when repairing. Chances are if you go to an Apple store that opens phones, or if you mail it to Apple you are SOL. What is the problem you are having?

Yea what's the problem because chances are apple is going to deem it your fault anyway and your warranty's not going to help much....
