Default Missing 'Now Playing' Graphic on Button - Help!

After I removed language packs from my iphone 2G to speed it up, I noticed that the 'Now Playing' graphic button of the music player doesn't show up. I Sshed into my phone and saw that the pic was there. But, it's not showing up. That only thing showing up is a black arrow pic in its place. I don't want to restore. How can I get that graphic to show back on the button?

It obviously has something to do with the language packs. Try searching for and applying one from cydia. You said you used an app that removed them; it might have removed the regular one, too.

I re-installed all the language packs and it doesn't fix it. I never said I used an app that remved language packs. I manually removed the language packs.

you probably deleted the one with now playing in it accidentally. Ill try to find out where they are located and send you my version

you must have read this thread?
    http://modmyi.com/forums/general-iphone-chat/678953-list-language-packages-delete-3-0-increased-performance-6.html

i figured it out you need to edit a file in ssh though. Do you have this folder? /var/stash/ then click the applications folder then go to /mobilemusicplayer.app/english.lproj if you have this, open the file "localizable.strings" and find "NOW PLAYING BUTTON LABEL" value and set it to "Now Playing"
if you cant find those files i will upload them to you

ddonuts4, YOU DID IT!!! Your suggestion did the trick. All I did was type in: 'Now Playing' in localizable.strings. Thank you so much!

Now, I got 2 questions for you, if you don't mind:

    1) Sometimes, when I turn my phone off then on again, I get an error message saying that I have to restart my iphone. After that, the icons on springboard get rearranged. How do I fix this?

    2) I got semi-transparent icons from a theme called Glass Orb that I manually installed without winterboard (since I don't like winterboard). They are semi-transparent for regular apps like, Cydia, Calendar, Photos, etc. But for .ipas, the icons are solid. How can I make icons for .ipas semi-transparent?

    1. Do you have enough time to click power and home at the same time and get a screenshot of this error. It would really help.
    2. I believe you need to edit the .png files(or whatever the extension is) in GIMP or Photoshop. They seem to support transparency. GIMP is free, and photoshop is not cheap. If you have neither go with GIMP. Photoshop is a little better but not worth the price.
If you look at this dock file, it does not show up as transparent in paint or windows image viewer but it does in GIMP

Also, you can have some fun editing the other strings to whatever you want. In the springboard.app folder(/System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/English.lproj) there will be a strings file like the one in the mobilemusicplayer folder where you can edit your slide to unlock strings, too. Instead of deleting ALL my language packs, im deleting them app by app to be safe. Not all english language packs are called En.lproj or English.lproj. They might be called America_US.lproj

ddonuts4, as I said before, my icons are already transparent. The problem is that they show up as solid icons, but not transparent icons for .ipas. The only apps that the icons are transparent for are non-.ipa apps. How can I get these already transparent icons to show up for .ipas?
