Please Help my crying wife
Wife has Iphone 3G 8gb.
About 6 months ago her friend put cydia on it. I guess this means its jailbroken? We just connected it to Itunes to update the software to 3.1.2 and now its completely stuck at the charger to itunes screen. When I plug it in, Itunes doesn't pick up the device.
Please help me....

try putting the phone into Recovery Mode...

lol. never upgrade a jailbroken iphone to stock firmware without restoring first.
of course, you then have to rejailbreak (or upgrade directly to an pwned ipsw)-----------------------------------------------------------
