New to iPhone hook me up **LOOK**
Kinda new I owned one for about 4 months a few years ago and made the switch to Verizon and got the POS Storm...
Anyways I got a 1st gen again because I had a work phone and dont need anything on this but WiFi. Ive had it unlocked and jailbroken with 3.1.2
So far I have Cydia, Icy and Winterboard installed.
Have a few themes from there but Ive noticed that there are thousands on this site and I was wondering how to get them from this site to winterboard?! And if they arent meant for winterboard I know there are others like summerboard ect.
So it would be cool to get links on all of the best things like ive heard of this "rock" thing thats like cydia and how to get summerboard and others on my phone as well as instructions on how to get the themes from here to the phone. Also interested in any cool apps you guys no of free of course because if I start buying them I will be in the bucket about 100 bucks after the first day ha! Dont mind donating to all of you for your actual products in stead of giving apple my money on the store ha!
Thanks for anyone who pitches in a hand!! It means a lot.
Not quite the traffic there use to be huh?Last edited by 40ozBulldog; 11-24-2009 at 04:28 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

Summerboard is a thing of the past. If you download a theme from here, use SSH to get them on your phone.
Most of the themes are already in the Winterboard format as far as folder structure is concerned so you just have to pop them in to the Library > Themes folder and respring. They should show up in Winterboard from there.

The ModMyi repo in Cydia has, as i would assume, most of the themes here. I only really customize themes on my computer then ssh, but I believe if they are downloaded in Cydia, they are saved into the correct theme folder. So all you have to do is select the ones you installed using winterboard.

If you are just gonna be changing/replacing/etc. files to make themes, or modify files, iPhoneBrowser is a nice tool for windows. Search for it, it's free and works well. Using openSSH is nice but if the above is what you plan on doing, start with iphonebrowser.
