No radio......
Hey guys i was thinking of getting a 3Gs and i started searching around for some stuff i thought would be in it. most of the stuff is there except... NO FM RADIO??????? HUH????????? even the nano has FM radio and that **** is like 100$!! wtf is up with that??

they say there will be a radio app in the next big firmware update. the 3GS HAS a radio receiver built in, so it would be possible.
but as of now: no radio. period.

well i read your comment and i dug some more... Apple to Unlock iPhone's/Touch's FM Radio - Tom's Guide
sorry i bought my first apple product in june so im not sure, but does apple pull this BS ALL the time? the chip is already there but they havent "activated" it yet, and from what i've read they did the same thing with bluetooth??

You could use a streaming radio app. A few local stations all over broadcast over IHeartRadio app at the same time. Works for me when I want to sort of listen to the radio.

is there some kind of contraption that connects to the dock thing so i can listen to radio?
EDIT: also i heard that nano only receives radio when the headphones are plugged in, does this mean that if you get the nano headphones radio will work?
