Cant enable MMS on 3GS with 2G plan

Iphone 16g 3GS on 3.1.2 - 05.11.07
Iphone 2g plan with AT&T
Latest carrier update

Ive searched for hours on end.

Ive tried most of the fixes I can find for enabling MMS on my phone. Ive used GEOs unlock, and changed my carrier settings to one ive read to have worked from multiple people.

1. APN: wap.cingular
2. User: [email protected]
3. Pw: CINGULAR1
4. MMSC: mmsc.cingular.com
5. Proxy: 66.209.11.32

Ive tried the 2g enablers, and all kinds of stuff from cydia and what I could find from google, and on youtube for fixes, and with 4 hours of searching on the internet for a fix but im having no luck. I had the thought that its not on my end on AT&T, but I dont understand how the 2G users would have it enabled so I guess im at a loss for what I could do. If anyone could give me any insight or point me in the right direction, id be very grateful!

did you try to update the carrier settings manually ? See if these help.

tried both ways and its not working. i just did a blackra1n unlock and my cellular data network menu isnt popping up even after a few reboots and reinstalls of blackra1n. my MMS is enabled in the messaging menu so i dont know what the deal is.

im on a fresh restore as of a couple days ago too.

So i'm assuming the 2G iPhone data plan is priced different than the 3G and 3GS? If that is the case, i'm sure it is blocked by AT&T.

Yes, 2g is 10 dollars cheaper a month, and comes with a standard 200 txt messages a month.

As I stated before since you have a 2G plan, especially since it comes with texts, MMS is probably blocked by AT&T since they will not allow the 2G that option.
There are some other threads with people with 2Gs trying to do MMS, and I don't believe that's been accomplished either.
