Does the 3g dock works for 3gs?

I have seen many docks on ebay. Some mentioned will not work with 3gs, some mention will work, some didn't mention at all for 3gs.

I had one before that seller mentioned will not work with 3gs, but I opened up, it's simply electric extension and makes the plug stand up. So I don't understand why it will not with 3gs.

Have anyone had experience that your dock does not work completely with 3gs while doing JB or sync? Do I need to trust those sellers that to pay extra for the one works with 3gs? Or just buy random one will work fine?

it works, only the 2G docks won't work with the 3G/3GS
