Need help quick! Restore wants me to d/l most recent firmware??

I'm selling my phone today and I want to restore it to factory settings. However it wants me to d/l the most recent firmware. Is there not a way around this?

Buyer wants to unlock phone. I'm currently on 3.0.1 for my 3G

Then download a 3.0 or 3.0.1 firmware and shift resotre to it. Well u know u can jailbreak and unlock the lastesr firmware with blackra1n. Rite

U have to search. Just search in google
iPhone 3g 3.0 or 3.0.1 ipsw download. Restore to that and jailbreak with redsn0w then install ultrasn0w

NOW you can dude. blackra1n jailbreaks and unlocks it. u can do it but if u dont want to blackrain as there are a lot of problems with it pm me and ill show u another way
