Purchased used 3G--Jailbroken--want to keep apps

I purchased a used 3G. It was broken with Blackrain.

I want to keep the apps it has now. When I right click to transfer purchases, it looks like it does but nothing happens. The apps don't go to iTunes.

What am I doing wrong?

You have to authorize your computer to use the apps that are on the phone. You will need the previous owners iTunes user name and password to do this.

The apps on the phone are tied to the previous owner's iTunes ID so you're pretty much out of luck.
