    Default Bluetooth problem with dell laptop

    I going nuts with this. for a month or more been tethering without any problems with dell laptop. now it is asking for pin number on dell then pin on iphone 3gs. i enter same numbers, 0000, or 2323 or 1234 on each device and no connection allowed. what the hell is different? is there a code in the bluetooth setting of the dell i can find to change? i even lowered the secruity to no password and still connection fails? any suggestions.

    nevermind. found out it has to be set for tethering in iphone before it will recognize iphone automatically with tethering on. then no pin needed.
