Default MobileTerminal doesn't work for me

MobileTerminal does not work for me.

    I have an iPhone 3GS running 3.1.2.

    I installed MobileTerminal from Cydia.

But, everytime I run it, it shows the keyboard for about 1 second, then the keyboard disappears and I'm back at the springboard.

I shut my phone down and restarted and still have the same problem.

I uninstalled it, re-booted, re-installed and re-booted and it acts the same.

    What am I doing wrong?

I read on the mobileterminal - Project Hosting on Google Code page that MT could conflict with Rock.

The recipe for fixing it was uninstalling ROCK and just having Cydia installed and then installing MT through Cydia. You can read more about it on the webpage.
