backing up

i have an iphone 3gs 3.1 on at&t with ALOT of songs and picture and messages and contacts. i recently reformatted my computer and now i can't add anything else on my iphone without erasing all the previous stuff. is there a way to back all of them up so itune wont delete them when it sync? it's jailbroken.

Not too sure if you have mac or pc. I have mac, so what i do is i retrieve all my songs, pics, videos from the iphone to my mac using PodWork. Then add those back to itunes. For contacts, i always have them on Entourage(outlook).

What you should have done is to backup your files on the computer before you reformat it.

Just google for "iphone to pc", i am sure it will give you tons of applications that can do that.

my comp got bsod because of driver error, i cant even access the safe mode to back up the stuff. so based on that, you should know if it's a mac or PC.i do wish i have a mac now though.

I am not a computer wiz therefore i couldnt tell from your first post. Im just here to police the site and help out whatever i can.

oh, sorry if that came out wrong. i meant based on when i said that i got the blue screen of death, that it's a PC, since mac doesn't get that... i think. and thanks for the quick response. i'll just try to gather up all my CDs from around my garage... got billions of them.
