Default iPhone 3GS without "Push Notifications" settings missing

    Hi!

I have recently wondered about facebook and push notifications on my 3GS. Still I am not 100% clear if push notifications do work with facebook app 3.1 but that is another topic.

In the process of researching about this I found that strangely my "Notifications" entry seems to have disappeared from the settings screen.

Opposed to the screenshot I found online (see below) I do not have this entry at all anymore.

Does anyone of you have an idea why that could be?

I am running my 3GS jailbroken & unlocked under a pwned 3.1.2 w/ old baseband.

    Thank you very much!

the notifications entry in settings is only visible if you have an app that uses push.
facebook does NOT support push as of now, but it will in the future.
