Ok, so I couldnt get into my phone using WinScp. I have sucessfully gotten int root using iPhone explorer.

What I cannot figure out is how I change individual file names.
I am trying to rename text to mms in the perfect storm theme.

Any help is appreciated.

the names of the apps are stored in /System/Library/CoreServices/Springboard.app/YourLanguage.lproj/LocalizedApplicationNames.strings
if that's what you mean ... :-)

Finding the strings isn't the problem. Editing the names of the icons in the themes, I need to change text.png to mms.png and can't make it happen.

Yeah i searched for help on this, but the explorer won't let me do it. Can u delete any files via iphone explorer?

I like iphone explorer, but Ive had better luck with ifunbox
