iPhone 3GS Case or No Case?
I have a 3GS and have had it for 6 months now. I fitted a Invisible Sheild the day I purchased it, I have since fitted another due to the first ones corners lifting due to dirt and dust so I am having to consider getting another.
I did try a hard case but it just made the phone too big and ugly.
I like the invisible shield as it keeps the profile almost like without a case.
I am a UK 02 customer and pay £10 a month for insurance which covers accidental damage, therfore I am considering not replacing the invisible sheild and just going with the native iphone..
I am unsure as I don't want my phone to look old and worn but want to enjoy it looking new. With a case or invisible shield on this isn't really possible.
What do you guys do? Do you have a case if so which one or do you got without any case or sheild?
Thanks

I used a case for the longest, but got tired of it being hard to pull out of my pocket and I like the way it looks without a case and my radio dock wont work with the case on. So i opted to go naked and so far its best. lol
If I helped you dont be afraid to click thanks

I use a really slim black rear hard case that looks just like the iphone back. It's £2 including delivery from ebay and I got it from here...
Most people dont even notice that it's on there.

I do think I will prefer it without any case.
Has anyone claimed for accidental damage on o2 insurance following you dropping you phone and cracking either the screen or back? If So was the claim process simple and without issue?
Did they give you a new phone?

I really dig the Switcheasy Neo case. It actually feels pretty thin in your hands also.

I'm liking the black Candyshell case and anti-glare screen protector I put on my 3Gs when I bought it. The case has a great rubber trim around the screen and it lays solid on surfaces. Best of all it covers virtually the entire device sans an opening for the ring/vib switch and camera.
It took forever to locate a holster that would fit it. I finally found a Rocketfish universal side holster that fits like a glove with the Candyshell. Since it is a 3Gs with a compass I surgically cut the magnets out and replace with mild velcro. Looks and works great.
I had no problems at all with the Candyshell going in and out of pocket. I just fear the pocket method of carrying it.Last edited by ZepRider; 11-07-2009 at 02:56 PM.

There seems to be a lot of feedback on the use of cases. Are there many who simply don't bother? If so any tips / tricks on keeping it looking new?

I use the incipio feather case. I'm the type that hates cases. I think it's so dumb to make a phone thicker. But after my buddy raged about the incipio feather I decided to get one and I actually like my phone better with it on. It's super thin and weighs practically nothing
