    Default 40 seconds

    Is 40 sec normal to boot a 3g 8gb iphone from off? Its jailbroke and unlocked with Blackra1n.Thanx

    I would say it can be normal. If it happens all of the time, I'm not so sure.

    well a 3g usualy takes up to 1 min to boot or more...if you have a 3g and it boots at 40 seconds then congrats. Also if you have a 3gs those usualy boot in 30-40 seconds...all in all iphones take a little time to boot.

    I don't remember because I had just restored my iPod. I had the Lopeard theme and that slows down booting and respringing. Even when the memory was still high, respringing took an obnoxiously long time. I couldn't figure it out so I got rid of it.

    yeah, it's actually a pretty good value, normally it takes a minute or so to boot.

    my 3GS usually takes about 20 seconds, but only after I've removed some launch daemons ^^
