I own a 3G iphone on the Orange France network. The good thing about this is that Orange France will unlock your iPhone after 6 months of your contract, if you request it. I tried it and it is great because you request the unlock with Orange, they then liaise with Apple, so that the next time you do a software update in itunes the lock is automatically removed from the phone. (you get a message on itunes to that effect).

That having been said I miss my jailbroken phone with the apps that I got used to having on it. My question is ...if i Jailbreak my phone again does anyone know if I will lose my 'unlock' the next time that I update my phone with itunes?
