Reverse Tether through Bluetooth DUN
|
Hey guys.
I've received an iPhone 3G, but it doesn't have service, as I'm stuck with Verizon for 2 years.
I have an unlimited data plan on my Verizon phone (LG Env2) and have setup tethering for computers through DUN.
I'm wondering if there is a way to share that connection with the iPhone through Bluetooth, to create that same DUN connection, or something of the sort. All I need is to access the internet on the iPhone as it has a much easier way of browsing the web than the Env (or any other non-smart phone).
I've looked up "reverse-tethering", but it just shows how to do it through the computer and through the Wi-Fi card and an ad-hoc network.
I need to share the connection from the phone. So basically, this is the network route:
Verizon EVDO----{3G Connection}--->LG Env2----{Bluetooth DUN}-->iPhone 3G
A billion thanks,
Artur
