Please Help! What Do I Do W? The Sdk File

I downloaded the 2.? gb sdk file from apple. First of all it's an Apple file that I can't open. Second if I do install from a Mac will I still have an unlocked phone w/ apps? i can't really get all this SDK stuff, except you can write programs. Thanks a lot?

FIrst off, ya need a Mac to download the free SDK file. Second..are you a registered Apple Developer? If not, dont bpther with the SDK, its not for you. I think what you are trying to do is get 2.0 (1.2) on your iPhone. Thats not gunna happern right now. Its not open to the public, and no one really has it all on the phone right now.

Just leave the SDK file alone.

No problem, i did the same thing, got too excited LOL. Oh well. Im sure soon someone will have a file to download the 2.0. Just keep an eye out.
