ive heard several people talking about this in the last 2 weeks or so but it seems with the iphone there is a hack programs that allows people to steal your out going and incoming sms messages if there in a certain range around the iphone user while there sending or receiving a sms message is this possible? Anyone else hear about this? kinda disturbing IMO. im not sure if it via bluetooth? any truth to this

There was an exploit in FW 3.0 that could lead to that. It was fixed in 3.0.1

Yes, it's all fixed in 3.0.1. The exploit wasn't actually specific to Apple but also affected Android etc.
