Default How Can I Add Custom Pic to the SMS App?

Hi, guys. I got a pic that I want to use as a background to the stock SMS app. If this is possible, how can I do it? Just to let you know, I'm on an iphone 1G running 3.0.1.

Nitsson, thank you so much!!! Now, I got 3 questions for you...

    1) How can I remove text below the springboard icons without winterboard?

    2) How can I change the font size on my SMS app?

    3) How can I change the color of the background keyboard (while color of the keys stay the same) without winterboard?

    4) How do I change the status bar color without winterboard?

Afraid I don't know the answers - try reposting as a new "Four challenging questions for the iPhone experts" thread or so. Since everyone likes to be called an expert it should prove impossible to resist That or I'm off to study motivational techniques
