    Talking IPHONE 3GS users help!

    Can an iphone 3gs user upload the com.apple.SystemPowerProfileDefaults.plist from /System/Library/systemconfiguration/powermanagement.bundle/
    for ,e because i saw in another forum that if u put in in 3g itll make it faster. PLZ could someone give it to me

    erm... i'm pretty sure you're gonna wreck your phone if you replace a system file with another unrecognizable one...

    this is the file from my 3GS. But I looked at it: don't see why it should make a difference ... I'm pretty sure it's the same on a 3G

    PS: you have to rename it to .plist since the forum only allows upload of certain file extensions

    It doesn't work!
    I tried this with more .plist files but my cpu frequency stays at 412.000.000. (412mHz)
    You can check this by typing "sysctl -a hw.cpufrequency" in terminal.
    sysctl -w hw.cpufrequency=555000000 in terminal doesn't work because is read-only!
    Anyone other suggestions? I want to overclock my iPhone 3G to 555 mHz!
