What's The Process of Returning A Jailbroken 3Gs????
Ok, I am a new iPhone user and have had my iPhone for two Fridays now so excuse me for havin' newbie type questions. I just jailbroke (blackra1n) my iPhone 3Gs 32GB running on firmware 3.1.2, but there are two things that I have noticed about my iPhone that I am a little unhappy about.
1. I have one Pixel that stays lit that I cannot get rid of and is quite annoying. Especially during movies and such.
and
2. Tonight I happened to look at friends white iPhone 3Gs and when side by side with mine I noticed that her iPhone screen was darker and the colors popped more than mine. It's not a huge deal but enough to bug me a little.
Now I have 3G Unrestrictor app that I downloaded from Cydia and I don't want to lose that app if at all possible. What do I have to do to keep this app if I restore? And lastly, if I restore to factory, will all the apps that I downloaded from iTunes remain there so that if I do get a replacement I can re-download them onto the new phone? I also backed up my iPhone since I jailbroke, is that bad?
The more info that u guys can give me before I go to the Apple Store the better. Thanks so much. Later

If you are going to take it to the apple store you need to do a simple restore and start the phone as "new" when it is complete. Then when you get a replacment, just re-jailbreak and install the apps you had before. All ur iTunes purchased apps will be transfered to ur new phone.
