Offline maps..

I searched and searched but really couldn't find a definitive answer.

I'm basically looking to have maps on the phone so I can view them without edge, wifi, etc.

I've downloaded Maps Enhancer, Offline Maps, and dMap but seems like only Offline Maps works well, however it takes a while to build the cache so I'm wondering what everyone else is using and if an application is available that works well where I can easily download and access maps.

You need to look at a map application like Navigon or G-Map that has all of the maps pre-installed. The app size is like 1.5 GBs!

Also xgps on cydia let's you download maps and use them offline. It's a gps app but it might work for you.

OffMaps is the same as Offline Maps. I use that and Navigon, but yes OP, you've right - it's not the best solution.
