Random notifications?

So on my 3GS Ive been getting random vibrates when its on vibrate and when its on ring I get the new mail sound but no badges or any new mail to see?

Is this a known issue or why is it doing this?

It only happends once or twice a day

strange. is it possible that your email account is set to push and that you check not only the inbox, but other folders as well? because when I check other email folders than the inbox, my phone will vibrate when I get a new mail in one of those folders, but it won't show a badge on the mail account (stupid).

besides that it seems strange to me, are you sure you're not just accidentally turning on the silent switch or something? On some iphones that thing is pretty loose.

If you install iblacklist or another blocking software you might want to turn the badges on or something for when it does it's job. Mine bounces a few times a day and the blacklist log always tells the truth of the matter.
