Really annoying!!!

right , i just sit there and i get a notice on my iphone from o2 , saying you need atleast 17p to use the internet please call 4444 to top up , im not even using the internet , anyone know how i can stop this and after sending a text i get a notice telling me my balance any way i can stop these from coming through please help its really annoying now .

see if settings > general > network > cellular data network exists. if so, enter some gibberish in the first three fields, that should so the trick.
as an additional security measure, you can disable 3G and EDGE in sbsettings, but that isn't bullet-proof

it prevents the phone from accessing the internet so you shouldn't get charged for internet anymore.
if, on the other hand, you have like an internet flatrate where you pay monthly, then you need to contact o2 to disable it.
