my friend has a 2g iphone and it was unlocked and jailbroken something happened and now when his sim card is in it it stays on the connect to itunes screen but he can get calls and text still he also said that even when a at&t sim card is in it the same thing happens if i run it through redsnow could that fix it

I think it wasn't activated. just restore the phone to 3.0, then run redsn0w on it, that should do the trick. after that install ultrasn0w from cydia to unlock it (you have to add repo666.ultrasn0w.com to the list of repos for ultrasn0w to show up)

i didnt really mean to my comp was acting stupid i only ment to post it in tmobile and general chat i only do that cause i can sometimes get different opinions
