Incoming Call Screen

I just recently noticed that my incoming call screen goes black after a few seconds. Doesn't the screen stay on the whole while before you decide to answer?

I have to hit the home buttom once to get the screen to reactivate.

My phone is jailbroken, but I have not made any changes in weeks. I've only added new apps in this time.

Any advice or ideas are appreciated.

I think if your phone is locked it will turn the screen off after a few seconds. that's normal. it always does this on the lockscreen, regardless of what's happening on the phone.

Weird, I don't recall it going black before I had a chance to get the phone out of my pocket.

I just checked and you're right. after 20 seconds it dims the screen a little, but it never goes off ... weird.
you might wanna check recent installations from cydia that might have caused this.

edit: nevermind, after another reboot it seems to work ... cool! it's really usable now!
