    Default Activate 2g iphone with o2 PAYG sim?

    Hi all,

    Im trying to activate my phone legit rather than have the hacktivation thing happen during jailbreak.

    Ive put my old PAYG sim in, restored to 3.0.1, and itunes tells me the sim is not valid or what ever it says to you.

    So i got my mate round with a O2 contract sim, same result.

    Is this something to do with itunes 9?

    Anyone? Im desperate to get push working, ive tried all the fixes (pushfix, manual push fix in winscp, airplane more on-off) and nothing works. My only remaing option is genuine activation rather than hacktivation!

    Any help much appreciated
