This is a continuation of a previous thread (see here: 3.1 Safari Issue)

16gb iPhone 3G on 3.1.2 - My safari crashes every time I log in to a site on our local network via VPN (192.168.1.9/blahblahbla)?? The funny thing is so does safari 4.0.3 for windows (not on VPN), safari for mac (i don't know the version) and all other browsers from the app store and cydia, but not firefox or IE for windows?? It also does it on all other 3G and 3GS phones as well. It doesn't matter if the phone is jailbroken or not. The crash log begins:

Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGBUS)
Exception Codes: KERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE at 0x00000000
Crashed Thread: 4

any developers know what that means? It's been doing this since Beta 3.1 - It worked fine on 3.0 and below??? The page i'm trying to access is our work order system and hasn't changed in a couple of years.
