Noob question. How do I access my jailbroken iphone 3gs 3.1.2 files?
Is there a program for Mac (or windows) to browse iphone system and application files etc? I could probably do it using terminal, but some ftp like browser would be cool... Any ideas?

there many like iphone broswer and ifunbox but right now they have bug with 3.1.2 that they can't access it but you can ssh over wifi, and it seems to work that way

Thanks. I tried Cyberduck. Entered the IP, used port 21, used SSH but it didn't work for some reason. Wrong port maybe? It didn't prompt for a pass.

It is a secure connection. User is root and password is alpine

you have openSSH installed from cydia? if so, the phone should even show up in the "bonjour" list in cyberduck, you don't even have to enter an IP or anything. oh btw, username is "root", password is "alpine" ;-)
also note that on first connect it can take about a minute or two until you actually are prompted for the password. this will go faster in consecutive logins
oh btw, I think port for SSH is 22, but like I said, go for the bonjour tab and select your iphone from there, this makes it easier

I used to use DiskAid, but found that it has limitations in copying out YourTube download videos. Now I install Open SSH on the iPhone and use WinSCP on my XP to access the iPhone files. Enter your iPhone's IP address into the first field, "root" as the user, and "alpine" as password on WinSCP.
