Blackra1n Question
I have owned an iPod touch for a long time but now I have an iPhone 3G S. I am just beginning the two year contract with AT&T, so I don't want it unlocked or anything. Is it just as easy to jailbreak it with blackra1n and will there be any complications that could arise different from on an iPod touch?

Blackra1n is made just to jailbreak.
It's simple upgrade to 3.1.2,
Click on make it rain
wait for reboot

As long you dont need unlock, you can use Blackra1n.
But nomatter what you do, backups are allways smart!

So there is no issue with basebands or anything... nothing that can really go wrong like with the ipod touch? (or anything that goes wrong can be fixed with a restore?)
