iPhone 2G/3G RAM Increase
Is there any SAFE ways to make an iPhone run faster (clear up RAM usage)? It bugs me that most of my apps take about 8 seconds (sometimes more) to load up on my shiny new 16GB iPhone 3G. Ive already removed/disabled launch daemons, deleted unneeded language files, but mp phone STILL runs slowly.
Anybody know of a good way to increase RAM? Thanks in advance.

well, you apps don't take so long to load because of RAM but because of the processor speed. so clearing up RAM simply won't help you here. to get a really snappy iPhone experience I'm afraid you need to get a 3GS.

Hi, this is my first post and I'm not sure if I can talk about any other repos but I will give this a try. I went to cydia and added "vnmagic" repo. Then installed "free ram" off of cydia then rebooted my phone. After rebooting went to sbsettings/processes/free memory this takes about 30 secs after you free memory. But available memory went from about 60mb after respring to 80mb. Hope this helps
