Jailbreak rant

iPhone 3GS...the most innovative iPhone yet...still running 3.0 when there is 3.1.2 out.

Dev team...wtf?!?!

If anyone has heard of any ways to update an already jailbroken 3GS, please let me know. I'm feeling homicidal at this point.

P.S. Of course I was kidding with that last bit for all you high strung nuts out there. Just making a point.

If you'd search you'd know you can update to 3.1 jailbroken right now. Of course 3.1.2 just came out so j/b obviously isnt yet.

I've been searching, apparently in all the wrong places, for days. I'm sos sick of this "holier than thou" attitude and preaching the use of google. Yeah, we get it. Obviously we tried that. A little help would be much appreciated.

You want childish, he has two posts and the first one was to B**tch about the devs that DID do what he said they didn't do, his second one was to b**tch at a mod for helping him and telling him he was wrong that the FW was jailbroken to current until like.......4 hours ago.

Honestly this site has become a 5 person chat forum.

if your not Blkcadi, CPJR, One1, Melech or Stealth your a douchebag and they just fill up threads with their hollier than thou bashing........used to be a helpful forum.

Theres my rant.

You guys can bash all you want. I don't come back to the threads......

Hey you forgot about about me....Im the official MMI *****.......

Its one thing to help someone...ITS ANOTHER THING TO SPOON FEED....
and if people are to lazy to search the forum or hit up Google then kick rocks.....This is by far the nicest bunch of mods,admins and members Ive meet....I came from the iDEN world where EVERYTHING WAS TOP SECRET...and most members where holes!!(***) and if you wanted to mod your phone it cost money if you didnt know someone......here man people flood the forum with info for you so soak up.....and instead of searching youll ask the same question that was just asked 500 times...did you ever think people might get a lil sick of answering the same question over and over again????

I assume it doesn't help YOU b/c you are on a PC. At the moment the program to jailbreak 3.1 only exists for Mac. Your only option is to search and download a custom 3.1 ipsw built by Pwnage Tool. This will have to be done on Google though as links to custom fimrware files is illegal.

2..... you should see a box well more like a rectangle and if you click on it. you will be able to type words.......NOW HERE IS THE REALLY HARD PART type in 3G[S]custom 3.1 .ipsw....
