I find wedging both earphones into the one ear usually solves this little 'problem'

    i dont have "accessibility"

and is this really what stereo is? i thought it was smart use of the two different sound sources, not litterly playing the lyrics through one ear and the everything else through the other...

i hear it used awesomely on other songs but it does the stupid splitting BS with some songs.

it's what the artists make it. they can chose what plays on one side and what plays on the other. if lyrics play through one side, that's what they chose the song to be.
accessibility is only available on the 3GS. I think you would have to convert the song itself if you wanted mono

i think its just a problem with ipod/itunes/headphones, because when i listen to it on my computer, everything comes out of both speakers.
