    Default iPhone Data Recovery
My 3G was recently on FW 3.1 (legit). I then downgraded to 3.0.1, restoring from the backup made before the downgrade. Then I jailbroke it with RedSn0w. However, I now have a blank iPhone. I don't have any of my contacts, sms, mail, notes, pics, etc. I suspect the backup files were overwritten by a newer sync. Is there anything I can do to retrieve my data?

I tried that program, but I can't get the data from before the restore back. I have two backups...both are from AFTER the restore. Is there anyway I can get all my data back from BEFORE the restore? I guess the backup files have been overwritten by the sync after the restore.

    well thanks for your help.

I'm going to create a dump of my iphone's memory and see what I can recover from there.

I used GetDataBack - a windows recovery tool - to get back some of the overwritten backups. Then I tried to extract the data from them using incubate. Not much luck though...pictures are corrupt

    Haven't tried other stuff yet.
