Reverse Tethering

Hi all, I apologize if this has been asked before but I have tried search and google multiple times and cant find anything. I am looking for a way to tether my phone to my laptop so I can use my wired internet connection on my laptop with my iphone. It is a 3GS and I don't really want to JB it if I don't have to. I know it has something to do with ad-hoc but need more info on it.

well it's not that easy.
I BELIEVE it's possible if you have a wireless card in your laptop besides the one that is receiving the internet. then you could create a network bridge from the network card that is receiving the internet to the other network card, which would allow you to create a wi-fi network.

again, this is just what I blieve could work, I never tried something like this!
