3GS iphone image/clone backup program

1000 pardons if this has been asked and answered, but is there a program that can do make a complete image of the iphone on windows?

The reason I asked is because today while I was testing VLC and Mplayer on my 3gs my iphone crashed and got stuck on the apple logo. Luckily was able to fix it by putting my phone in recovery mode and connecting to itunes but canceled out without doing anything and some how it was fixed... anyways now I am freaked out and would like to make a complete image of my phone just in case my phone really does crash and I need to do a restore?
