i'd say you need to re install itunes.

or if you're still on itunes 8.2 you need itunes 9.

oh yeah also theres an update for itunes it's 9.0.1 so make sure to get that if you havent.

Yes Itunes 9.0.1 is the current version.
Plus this only seems to happen on my PC, tried on my sisters and it seemed to be fine.

it's probably because you decided to keep everything in program files. something must have gotten corrupted during the transfer.

    uninstall itunes and re-install it.

Ok will do that and update, I only kept it all because it had all my playlist's ect. in there and I wanted to keep them.

If I uninstall it and then reinstall it will it remove all of my playlist's, ratings ect?

probably. itunes has an option to export your media library, but unfortunatly that doesn't include ratings / playcounts etc. (at least it didn't under itunes 8)
